Zeebast Limited Lifetime Warranty
This warranty policy applies to all orders placed after November 18th, 2022. For orders placed on or before November 17th, 2022, please visit this page.

A. Products Covered by this Limited Warranty

This limited warranty extends to all luggage manufactured by Zeebast and purchased directly from Zeebast. Luggage is designed for travel by air, car, train, boat, and foot. This Warranty does not cover your luggage if used in a manner incompatible with that intended design.

B. Who this Warranty Extends To

This limited warranty extends to the original purchaser of any luggage or, in the case of a gift, the original recipient of the luggage. The “original purchaser” is the first buyer from Zeebast. The “original recipient” refers to the first person who receives the luggage as a gift purchased from Zeebast. All Zeebast warranties, including any implied warranties, are valid only for the duration that the luggage is owned by the original purchaser or recipient. A COPY OF THE PURCHASE RECEIPT IS REQUIRED TO DETERMINE WARRANTY APPLICABILITY.

Zeebast warranties are not transferable and do not apply to the use of luggage for commercial or rental purposes.

C. Zeebast Limited Warranty and Responsibilities

Zeebast warrants that the luggage in its original packaging, sold to you, is free from material and workmanship defects ("Defects") for the lifetime of the product when used for its intended purposes.

D. What this Limited Lifetime Warranty Covers

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY COVERS THE FOLLOWING DEFECTS:

  • Cracks or breaks in the shell
  • Wheels, handles, or telescoping handles that break off and are no longer usable

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER THE FOLLOWING:

  • “Cosmetic Damage” such as scratches, dents, dings, scuffs, stains, color changes, normal wear and tear, or other non-functional changes in appearance that occur during normal use. Aluminum luggage is particularly susceptible to cosmetic damage.
  • Replacement of any non-defective components of the luggage (e.g., if only one part of a multi-component set is defective).
  • Luggage sold “as-is,” “used,” or similar wording indicating it is not new or of first quality.
  • Loss of functionality due to being locked out of your luggage.

In the event of a Defect, Zeebast’s sole responsibility is to repair or replace the defective luggage, subject to the conditions outlined in “Your Responsibilities” below. Replacement luggage may be provided in a different color. For limited edition or discontinued products, Zeebast guarantees only a replacement of equal or greater retail value, not an exact match of the original item.

E. Your Responsibilities

To benefit from this limited warranty, you must return your luggage to Zeebast with proof of the original purchase date. You will not be responsible for shipping costs to return the luggage. Any claims or evidence of a Defect must be sent to the support email provided below.

Zeebast will repair or replace the luggage and ship it back to you within 90 days. Shipping for domestic U.S. addresses will be covered, but charges for Alaska, Hawaii, or international addresses will be quoted separately after the warranty request is submitted. Repaired or replaced luggage is covered by the same limited warranty as the original item.

If your luggage is locked, it can be sent to Zeebast for unlocking, with the shipping costs being your responsibility.

F. Disclaimer, Limitation on Liability

TO THE EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY LAW, THE LUGGAGE IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” THIS WARRANTY AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE YOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES, REPLACING ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO THESE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ZEEBAST WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR INDIRECT DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR PERFORMANCE OF THE LUGGAGE. ZEEBAST’S TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT IN QUESTION. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, SO THESE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

G. Arbitration

G1. Any disputes between you and Zeebast arising from this Limited Warranty (“Dispute”) will be resolved through binding, individual arbitration and not as a class or collective action. The U.S. Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation of this clause.

G2. As exceptions, you may seek to resolve disputes in small claims court or seek injunctive relief to protect intellectual property rights.

G3. Arbitration will be conducted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. For claims under $10,000, arbitration can be done via documents, telephonically, or in person. Claims over $10,000 will follow AAA Rules, and hearings will take place in your local county unless otherwise agreed.

G4. Zeebast will cover all arbitration fees for claims under $10,000 unless deemed frivolous. If Zeebast prevails, it will not seek reimbursement of attorney fees. If you prevail, you are entitled to legal fee coverage under applicable law.

G5. You and Zeebast agree to bring claims only in individual capacities, not as part of a class or collective proceeding. If this provision is found unenforceable, the entire arbitration section becomes void.

G6. If an arbitrator or court finds any part of this Limited Warranty invalid, the remaining parts still apply.

G7. You must seek arbitration for disputes arising from this Limited Warranty before exercising any legal remedies under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.

H. Governing Law and Forum Choice

This Limited Warranty is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act and California law. Any disputes not subject to arbitration will be handled in California courts.
